After more than 30 years in family practice, I’ve seen firsthand the growing impact that poor nutrition has on our health. Much of the problem stems from the foods we eat every day. Many modern foods contain unhealthy chemicals, pesticides, fungicides, and other additives. Even the animals raised for meat and eggs are often fed low-quality ingredients, which can ultimately affect the food we consume.
But meat and eggs can—and should—be healthy, nutritious, and flavorful.
That belief led me to approach my son, who has spent years developing specialized animal feed, with a challenge: could we create a feed that was not only organic, but also designed to improve both flavor and nutrition?
After almost 10 years of research and development, he created TENDROMEGA feed.
TENDROMEGA feed was formulated using research and studies from leading universities to enhance flavor, tenderness, appearance, and nutritional value. It was specifically designed to naturally increase beneficial healthy fats such as CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) and Omega-3s, helping produce meat and eggs that are both healthier and better tasting.

TENDROMEGA feed is specially formulated to support healthy cattle growth while naturally enhancing meat quality. The result is beef that is exceptionally tender, rich in flavor, and beautifully marbled with healthier fats, creating a premium product that is both nutritious and great tasting.
TENDROMEGA feed is designed to support the growth and development of hybrid swine bred from select Tamworth and show pig bloodlines. Combined with superior nutrition, this approach helps produce pork that is exceptionally tender, richly flavorful, and beautifully marbled with healthier fats for a premium eating experience.
TENDROMEGA is not Certified Organic
It's not USDA Organic because it's better than USDA Organic.
When developing our feed, we made it a priority to use only organic ingredients whenever possible. Our belief is simple: many modern agricultural chemicals are specifically designed to kill living organisms—whether weeds, fungi, insects, parasites, or bacteria. When foods are treated with these substances, traces can remain in what we eat and ultimately enter our bodies.
We also recognized that livestock can be affected in the same way through the feed they consume. While regulatory agencies have established safety standards for these chemicals, we believe more attention should be given to the potential long-term effects of repeated low-level exposure over the course of a lifetime. For that reason, we believe the healthiest approach is to minimize exposure whenever possible.
Although we are deeply committed to organic principles, we found that strictly meeting every requirement for certified organic production while also achieving our standards for flavor, tenderness, and marbling would be extremely difficult. As a result, we created the TENDROMEGA brand—a commitment to raising livestock with a focus on cleaner nutrition, animal health, exceptional flavor, superior tenderness, and naturally enhanced marbling.
While we are deeply committed to the health of our customers, we are equally committed to the health and well-being of the livestock raised on our farm. Just like people, animals can become ill and occasionally require medical treatment. When necessary, we provide appropriate care and medication responsibly and only when needed to ensure the animals’ quality of life and humane treatment.
However, because of our strict production standards, animals that require certain medical treatments are no longer marketed under the TENDROMEGA label. Although these animals continue to receive the same high-quality feed and care, we believe in complete transparency with our customers. As a result, these products are offered separately at a lower price and accompanied by full health and treatment records.
